Monstrosity

The Monstrosity was designed for my first participation in the Forecast Fashion show sponsored by Portland Mercury, in the emerging designer section. Definitely not for the faint of heart but for those that love texture, colours and a shitload of draping industrial chains. Crochet and tatted leaf motifs in dusty light grey, light mauve, bold purple and lilac, the Monstrosity is an orgy of motifs sewn together in a random blooming pattern. Cascading from your shoulder, the Monstrosity is met by two draping industrial copper chain. An incredible statement, the Monstrosity is not a necklace, it is your wardrobe enhancer.
